ANHS PDL @15

The Program for Deaf Learners began its Mainstream Program fro Deaf Learners in 2002, during a quarter-long trial for five (5) Deaf students from Mandaluyong City.  It officially opened in SY 2003 - 2004 under the direction of then ANHS Principal Miss Teresita V. Gorayeb.  The Mainstream Program for Deaf Learners began after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between LSGH led by then president Br. Bernie S. Oca, FSC, the city of Mandaluyong represented by Mr. Bong Bugayong.  The team for the program was composed of Mr. Bugayong who served as sign language interpreter/tutor for the Deaf,   Mr. Dennis Balan, a Deaf partner who assisted the Deaf and serves as sign language teachers of the ANHS Faculty, and Miss Joi Villareal, sign language interpreter for the Deaf.  

Our first batch of Deaf graduates in 2008 (L-R) Dionisio Enriquez , Jr., Pee Jay EgaƱa, Jhe Escorial, Paul Gaveria, Joseph Pangilinan and Roldan Suante.
