November 23, 2012 Mr. Soya Mori, a Deputy Director and Senior Research Fellow of Poverty Alleviation and Social Development Studies Group Development Studies Center under the Institute of Developing Economies (IDE-JETRO), visits LSGH ANHS Program for Deaf Learners.
Along with Ms. Naty Natividad as interpreter, Mr. Rheal D. Dayrit, LSGH ANHS Principal, Mr. Noel Que, PDL Moderator and Miss Joi Villareal, SLI had an opportunity to provide information on the services that the school offers for Deaf individuals.
The initial inquiry by Mr. Mori was about the demographics and status of Deaf students and programs of the school. Similarly, those who are present also understand some similarities and differences between how Deaf students of the Philippines and Japan get access in education.
